South Street - Amendments To Loading Bays
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of THE LONDON BOROUGH OF ENFIELD (the Council) made The Enfield (Goods Vehicles Loading Bays) (No. 4) Traffic Order 2026 under sections 6, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
1. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce two new Goods Vehicle loading bays on the north-east side of South Street opposite No. 169 South Street and at a point 26.2 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Woodcock Way.
2. The loading bays will be in operation ‘At any time’ and a maximum stay restriction of 40 minutes and no return within one hour for the purpose of loading and unloading will apply.
3. A copy of the Orders which comes into operation on 21st September 2026 may be examined along with other documents giving detailed particulars about them, can be inspected at: The Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield, EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9:00am – 5:00pm inclusive, or online at: https://new.enfield.gov.uk/services/roads-and-transport/traffic-management-orders/, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date the Order was made.
4. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
