PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025
On 20/5/25 Staffordshire County Council confirmed the above order made under Section 257 of the Town & Country
Planning Act 1990 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981.
The effect of the Order will be to divert parts of Public Footpath No 5 Alrewas and No 34 Fradley as set out in the schedule below and as shown on the Order Map.
A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at the offices of Staffordshire County Council, Corporate Reception, 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2LP Mon-Fri. 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Copies of the Orders and maps may be bought there at the price of 10p per A4 page; £2 per map.
The order comes into force as from the date it is certified, but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question the validity, or that any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 as amended or Wildlife and Countryside Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirements of the Acts, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Acts, has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, within six weeks from 9/9/26, make application to the High Court.

PART 1
DESCRIPTION OF SITE OF EXISTING PATH OR WAY
Public Footpath No 5 Alrewas
The full width of that part of Public Footpath No 5 Alrewas commencing at Grid Reference SK 1874 1396 and running in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 30 metres to its junction with the A513 Road at Grid Reference SK 1875 1393.
Public Footpath No 34 Fradley
The full width of that part of Public Footpath No 34 Fradley commencing at Grid Reference SK 1869 1391 and running in a generally east, north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 61 metres to its junction with the A513 Road at Grid Reference SK 1874 1393.
PART 2
DESCRIPTION OF SITE OF NEW PATH OR WAY
Public Footpath No 5 Alrewas
Public Footpath commencing at Grid Reference SK 1874 1396 and running in a generally south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 21 metres to Grid Reference SK 1873 1395 and then continuing in a generally south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 27 metres under Chetwynd Bridge to its junction with Public Footpath No 34 Fradley at the Parish Boundary at Grid Reference SK 1875 1393.
Public Footpath No 63 Alrewas
Public Footpath commencing at its junction with Public Footpath No 5 Alrewas at Grid Reference SK 1873 1395 and running in a generally south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 8 metres to its junction with the A513 Road at Grid Reference SK 1873 1394.
The footpaths will have a width of 1.8 metres
Public Footpath No 34 Fradley
Public Footpath commencing at Grid Reference SK 1869 1391 and running in a generally easterly direction for a distance of approximately 49 metres to Grid Reference SK 1873 1390 then running in a generally north, north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 29 metres to its junction with Public Footpath No 5 Alrewas at the Parish Boundary at Grid Reference SK 1875 1393.
The footpath will have a width of 1.8 metres

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 3/9/26 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
Holly St, Burton-on-Trent. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB149813246. The Order will come into operation on 11/9/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the frame and cover works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Grange St, Burton-on-Trent. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB151204099. The Order will come into operation on 15/9/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 15/9/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier

The Order will come into operation on 10/9/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 10/9/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

The Order will come into operation on 25/9/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 25/9/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Faversham Rd, Burton-on-Trent. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB151351393. The Order will come into operation on 25/9/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 25/9/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Yerley Hill, Okeover. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB151344918. The Order will come into operation on 29/9/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/9/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 27/9/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 27/9/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the frame and cover works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
