The Hammersmith and Fulham (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.64) Order 2026
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham will make the abovementioned Orders under the powers granted by sections 6, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
2. The general effect of the above-mentioned Order which comes into operation on the 16th September 2026 will be to:
1. Heathstan Road - Remove personalised disabled bay HF247 opposite No. 4.
2. The Curve - Remove personalised disabled bay HF279 outside No. 44 Sundew Avenue.
3. Minford Gardens - Convert the standard disabled bay to a personalised disabled bay HF280 outside No. 11 Rockley Road.
4. Caxton Road - Remove a pay-and-display parking place and replace it with a goods vehicle loading bay; and introduce 'No Loading At Any Time' restrictions, indicated by double kerb markings, between the proposed loading bay and Uxbridge Road, and outside No. 10 Caxton Road.
5. Aldine Street - Remove existing pay-and-display parking bays adjacent to Uxbridge Road; install a goods vehicle loading bay on the western side; replace the pay-and-display bay and single yellow line on the eastern side with double yellow lines; and introduce 'No Loading At Any Time' restrictions, indicated by double kerb markings.
6. Abbey Gardens - Convert the single yellow lines outside and opposite No. 49 to double yellow lines.
7. Blythe Road - Relocate the loading bay from outside Calcott Court to outside No. 60.
8. Townmead Road - Convert the single yellow line outside No. 152 to double yellow lines.
9. Commonwealth Avenue - Remove shared-use parking bays at two adjacent locations and extend the double yellow line restrictions between them. 10. To make further amendments to bring the Map- Based Orders in line with the on-street layout.
3. A copy of the Orders, the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders, and documents giving more detailed particulars can be inspected, by appointment, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.
4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court may write to the Transport and Highways Department, Environmental Services, Town Hall Extension, King Street, Hammersmith, W6 9JU or via email to Traffic.
