The reason for the closure is for carriageway surfacing works.

The road is expected to be closed each night between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs from 14th September 2026 until 16th September 2026 only.

The reason for the closure is for road surfacing works.

The road is expected to be closed from 14th September 2026 until 26th September 2026 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for carriageway patching works.

There will be no waiting no stopping and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 28th September 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/ times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 31st October 2026
