EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath DL-531, Dodderhill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 10 March 2026 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath DL-531, Dodderhill from its junction with Footpath DL-530 and Footpath DL-533 (Grid Ref: 392432 266679) to its junction with Footpath DL-532 and Footpath DL-640 (Grid Ref: 392745 266756) which was due to expire on 10 September 2026 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 10 March 2027 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made due to a bank erosion.

[Prohibition of Waiting on Westwood Road, various junctions, Droitwich]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Droitwich:-

Westwood Road (east side):

a) from its junction with Parkway for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction and for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction.

b) from its junction with Hunters Way for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and for a distance of 20 metres in a southerly direction.

c) from its junction with Farriers Way for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

d) from its junction with Woodmans Way for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

e) from its junction Ploughmans Way for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

Westwood Road (west side):

a) from its junction with Coppice Way for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly.

b) from its junction with Crofters Way for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction and for a distance of 10 metres in a south westerly direction.

c) from its junction with Drovers Way for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

d) from its junction with Shepherds Way for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction and for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

e) from its junction with Meadow Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.

Westwood Road (both sides): from a point 10 metres south east of its junction with Thatchers Way in a north westerly direction to its junction with Crofters Hill and from its junction with Crofters Hill for a distance of 129 metres in a south westerly direction.

Parkway (both sides): from its junction with Westwood Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.

Hunters Way (both sides): from its junction with Westwood Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction.

Farriers Way (both sides): from its junction with Westwood Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.

Woodmans Way (both sides): from its junction with Westwood Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.

Ploughmans Way (both sides): from its junction with Westwood Road for a distance of 15 metres in a south easterly direction.

Coppice Way (both sides): from its junction with Westwood Road for a distance of 13 metres in a westerly direction.

Crofters Way (both sides): from its junction with Westwood Road for a distance of 8 metres in a north westerly direction.

Crofters Hill (both sides): from its junction with Westwood Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.

Thatchers Way (both sides): from its junction with Westwood Road for a distance of 16 metres in a south westerly direction.

Drovers Way (both sides): from its junction with Westwood Road for a distance of 6 metres in a south westerly direction.

Shepherds Way (both sides): from its junction with Westwood Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.

Meadow Road (both sides): from its junction with Westwood Road for a distance 15 metres in a south westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.
