What is happening?

Amendments To Waiting/Loading/Moving Restrictions – Various Locations – Minor Works Batch No.1 - The Haringey (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.22) Order 2026 - The Haringey (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.18) Order 2026 - The Haringey (Moving Traffic Restrictions) (Amendment No.7) Order 2026 - T41
Notice is hereby given that the Council of THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY on 28th August 2026 has made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The General Effect Of The Orders Would Be:
(i) To make the following changes to the locations listed below:

Campbourne Road N8 |
To permanently replace the resident permit holders only bay adjacent to No.6 High Street (Ladbrokes) with no waiting/no loading at any time. This is currently in force by way of a temporary traffic management order introduced in December 2025. |

Chesnut Road/Park View Road N17 |
To install double kerb blips (no loading at any time) on the existing double yellow lines outside and opposite No.131, continuing on both sides of the carriageway south-eastwards to the CPZ entry signs/TFL red lines (adjacent to Walter Tull House). |

Clarendon Road N8 |
To install approximately 12.5 metres of double kerb blips (no loading at any time) on the existing double yellow lines outside the access gate to No.33 (Civica building). |
|
Hermitage Road N4 |
To install an exemption for cyclists on the existing no entry restriction outside No.175 and install 5 metres of double yellow lines at either side of this restriction (across the bollards). |

Hurst Avenue N6 |
To convert single yellow line to double yellow line outside the common boundary of No.33/No.17 (Stanhope Road). |

Jarrow Road/Reedham Close N17 |
To install double kerb blips (no loading at any time) on the existing double yellow lines: 1. On Jarrow Road: a. North/West side: Between the eastern end of the bus stop opposite No.1 continuing to the junction with Ferry Lane. b. East/south side: Between the eastern end of the bus stop adjacent to No.2/8 Reedham Close and Ferry Lane. 2. On Reedham Close (both sides): from the junction with Jarrow Road southeast for approximately 7 metres. |

Lordship Lane N22 |
To replace the motorcycle only parking bay outside No.459/461 with a shared use bay: loading only 8:00am–12:00pm, motorcycle only parking 12:00pm–10:00pm and free parking between 10:00pm–8:00am. |

Mattison Road N4 |
To replace approximately 3.6 metres of resident permit holders only parking with single yellow line (operating CPZ hours) adjacent to the flank wall of No.96 Mattison Road (in front of vehicle crossover). |

Myddleton Road N22 |
To shorten the shared use bay by phone/permit holders only bay outside No.11 by 4 metres by extending the adjacent double yellow lines. |

North Hill N6 |
To replace existing single yellow line with double yellow lines outside No.5 to No.11. |
(ii) To make the following map-based changes to ensure the Council's internal map-based records match the restrictions on the ground (no changes will be made to the restrictions on site):
1. To replace single yellow lines with double yellow lines outside No.173 Hermitage Road N4.
2. To amend the existing double yellow lines/resident permit holders bay in accordance with the extended kerb line at the junction of Mattison Road/Wightman Road N4 and to extend the single yellow line outside No.2b Mattison Road westward by 2 metres.
3. On Lynemouth Road N15 revoke the single yellow line and loading only bay outside No.3a-3g and convert pay by phone parking bay to shared use with resident permit parking outside No.24 (health centre).
4. On Campsbourne Road relocate N8 the loading bay to the east side of the carriageway (replaces existing waiting/loading restrictions) and shorten the resident permit holders only bay opposite No.2 by approximately 1.5 metres by extending the adjacent double yellow lines.
5. To revoke the permit holders only bay on Chesnut Road N17 outside No.131.
6. To revoke the bicycle parking storage hangar on Beaufoy Road N17 opposite No.70.
Date of operation: The Orders will come into operation on 25th September 2026.

Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
