What is happening?

Disabled Parking Places Batch 2025-04, Various Roads - The Haringey (Free Parking Places, Loading Places And Waiting, Loading And Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.21) - Order 2026 - The Haringey (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.17) - Order 2026 - T07
Notice is hereby given that the Council of THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY on 27th August 2026 has made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers.
The General Effects Of The Orders Would Be:
(i) To introduce Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays, operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY;
No.39 Langham Road N15, No.5 Greenfield Road N15, opposite No.21 Queen Street N17, No.36 Curzon Road N10, No.8 Weir Hall Road N17 (in footway), No.11 Burlington Road N10, No.7 Gladstone Avenue N22, No.136 Risley Avenue N17, No.72 Park Avenue South N8, opposite No.21 Manor Road N17, outside the entrance to No.1-12 Rees House on Brereton Road N17 (south of existing single yellow line), No.112 Beresford Road N8, No.25 Linley Road N17, No.97 Rosebery Road N10, opposite No.102 Pellatt Grove on Progress Way N22.
(ii) To convert existing Disabled Bays to Dedicated Disabled parking bays, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY:
No.54 Springfield Avenue N10, No.10 Bedford Road N22, adjacent to No.86 Westbury Avenue on Rusper Road N22, No.60 Glasslyn Road N8, No.75/77 Granville Road N22 (to be relocated approximately 6 metres eastwards to outside No.79).
The Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays would specifically be for the use of the permit holder for which it would be authorised. No other permit or blue badge would be valid for use within the proposed parking place except for the permit for which it was issued.
(iii) To install no waiting at any time except ambulances parking bays: outside No.6 Clifton Gardens N15 (approximately 6.6 metres) and outside No.25 Rostrevor Avenue N15 (approximately 7.2 metres).
(iv) To revoke the relevant underlying Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(i) & (iii) of this notice.
(v) To make map-based changes on the following roads to ensure the Council's internal map-based records match the restrictions on the ground (no changes will be made to the restrictions on site):
1. To convert resident permit holders to permit holders only parking outside No.39-65 Keston Road N17.
Date of operation: The Orders will come into operation on 21st September 2026.
Further details: An appointment can be made, by emailing: traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk, to inspect the Orders during normal office hours at: The Reception Desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made or can be viewed online at: https://streets.appyway.com/haringey, once operational.
Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
