Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Fraddon. This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th October 2026 to 7th October 2026.
Roads subject to prohibition - Road From Roundabout On 83275 To Westbourne Terrace, Fraddon, Road From Penha le To Ridgewell Terrace, Fraddon, Road From Ridgewell Terrace To Barton Road, Fraddon, Road From Barton Lane To Fraddon Hill, Fraddon, Parka Road, Fraddon, Parka Road, St Columb Road, Fraddon Hill, Fraddon, Road To Indian Queens From Fraddon, Fraddon, Road From Belmont To Chapel Road, Indian Queens, Chapel Road, Indian Queens for their entire lengths.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Fraddon. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 30 MPH over an area of highway being B3279 From Highgate Hill RoundaboutTo Alton Cottage, B3279 From Gaverigan To Carne Hill, Rectory Road, St Dennis from B3279 Roundabout to junction with Whitegate for approximately 3040 metres. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because cable trenching works are being executed on or near the road.
The Order will come into operation on 6th October 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 13th December 2026.
The restriction will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 25th August 2025 continuing to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being A39 Between Gonvena Hill And Tredruston Road, Wadebridge for its entire length for approximately 3840 metres. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction if necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works to re-waterproof bridge deck are being executed on or near the road.
The Order which commenced on the 8th September 2025 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 4th June 2027.
The restriction will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
