Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of B4632 Broadway Road/East Lodge Farm to Broadway Road from its junction with Toddington Roundabout to its junction with Stanway Grounds Farm for a distance of approximately 1 kilometre. The reason for the said closure and restriction is for water mains renewal works.

There will be no stopping or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works.

The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 08:00hrs on 29th September 2026 until 17:00hrs on 26th October 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C9037 Alstone Lane Road and footway from its junction with Rowanfield Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres in an eastward’s direction across Alstone Level Crossing.

The reason for the closure is for rail level crossing works.

The road and footway are expected to be closed from 23:15hrs on 26th September 2026 until 08:30hrs on 27th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS ELO3 AND ELO6 (INNSWORTH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of the Public Footpaths ELO3 and ELO6 as defined in the Schedule below:

SCHEDULE
Public Footpath ELO3 closed near to Innsworth House Farm extending in a general North Westerly direction for a distance of approximately 1035 metres to the left side of the Water Reclamation works.

Public Footpath ELO6 closed extending to SO 86128/21675, extending in an easterly direction from where Path ELO3 joins ELO6 towards Imjin Barracks for a distance of approximately 60. The footpaths fall within Innsworth Parish in the Tewkesbury Borough, within the County of Gloucestershire.

The closures are necessary for pedestrian safety during construction works. 

This Temporary Closure Order came into force on the 31st October 2019 and, as the works were not completed by the given date, the said Order was subsequently extended until 31st October 2026. 

However, the works are still incomplete and so the Secretary of State has now granted a further extension, until 30th April 2028, or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.

The reason for the closure is for pole replacement works.

The road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 21st September 2026 until 17:00hrs on 22nd September 2026. 

However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH EBW70 (EHU23) (BROCKWORTH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) Public Footpath EBW70 (EHU23) from its junction with Valient Way in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 130 metres to a point on EBW 70.

The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst construction works are completed.

The Order will come into force on the 25th September 2026 and it is anticipated that the Public Footpath will close on that day until 25th March 2027. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

Alternative Route: Not applicable. Emergency Service access and pedestrian access to any adjoining premises will be maintained.
