What is happening?
The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Roman Road, Plean) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic - Extension) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 4-9-26.
This Order will close:
Roman Road From its junction with Cadgers Loan to its junction with the A872 from 10-9-26 until 18-12-26 to facilitate road widening, upgrade works and the construction of a new active travel route.
Emergency service access will be maintained.
Alternative Routes: via A872, A91, A9, Cadgers Loan and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Forth Street / Hawthorn Drive, Fallin) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 28-9-26.
This Order will close:
Forth Street From its junction with Hawthorn Drive to its junction with Wallace Place.
Hawthorn Drive From its junction with Hardie Crescent to its junction with Polmaise Crescent from 0800 hours until 1700 hours from 28-9-26 until 9-10-26 to facilitate roads maintenance works.
Alternative Routes: Forth Street - via Wallace Place, Weir Drive and vice versa
Hawthorn Drive - via Polmaise Crescent, Stirling Road, Bandeath Road, The Avenue, Weir Drive and vice versa

ROADS (SCOTLAND) ACT 1984
SPEED TABLES AND ROAD HUMPS FORGLEN ROAD,
GRAHAM STREET, KEIR STREET, MAYNE AVENUE, MELVILLE PLACE AND WESTERTON DRIVE, BRIDGE OF ALLAN
The STIRLING COUNCIL, under Section 36 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, propose to construct speed tables and road humps as detailed in the Schedule hereto with a view to improving road safety by slowing traffic speeds at Forglen Road, Graham Street, Keir Street, Mayne Avenue, Melville Place and Westerton Drive, Bridge of Allan. A COPY of the plan showing the locations affected by the proposal can be requested by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk.
Objectors must state their reasons in writing to the Head of Environment and Place, by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk by 7 October 2026 and quoting reference number TM/6 - RH/2026(3).
