THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) (EAST TERRACE & FORE STREET HILL, BUDLEIGH SALTERTON) ORDER 2026
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC & PARKING
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From 14/9/26 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 16/10/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: EAST TERRACE & FORE STREET HILL, BUDLEIGH SALTERTON.
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - DIVERSION 1: CHAPEL STREET, B3178, FORE STREET HILL & VICE VERSA.
DIVERSION 2: FORE STREET HILL, B3178, UPPER STONEBOROUGH LANE, CRICKET FIELD LANE, CHAPEL HILL. DIVERSION 3: B3178, FORE STREET HILL & VICE VERSA.
The One Way system on the Affected Road will be suspended.
Roads affected: FORE STREET HILL, BUDLEIGH SALTERTON.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: MAINS REPLACEMENT.
