Road Traffic Acts - (Waiting And Loading Restrictions) (Stonard Road, Dagenham) Amendment No. ** Order 202* - (Cycle Track) (Stonard Road, Barking) Order 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM in exercise of its powers under sections 6 and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (hereinafter called "the Act") and all other enabling legislation and powers and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act propose to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to:
1. Adjust ‘No Waiting at any time’ restrictions and introduce ‘No Loading at any time’ restrictions at the following locations around the new kerb build out:
a. Stonard Road, west side, from its junction with Longbridge Road for 7.5 metres in a southerly direction.
b. Stonard Road, east side, from its junction with Longbridge Road for 7.8 metres in a southerly direction.
c. Longbridge Road, south side, from a point 2.4 metres west of its junction with the western kerb line of Stonard Road for 10.3 metres in an easterly direction.
2. Introduce ‘No waiting Mon-Fri 8:30am – 5:30pm’ restrictions at the following locations:
a. Longbridge Road, north side, from a point 5.8 metres east of the extended common boundary of Nos. 869 and 871 Longbridge Road for 1.4 metres in an easterly direction, replacing Zig-zag markings.
b. Longbridge Road, south side, from a point 6.2 metres east of the extended common boundary of Nos. 869 and 871 Longbridge Road for 1 metres in an easterly direction, replacing Zig-zag markings.
c. Longbridge Road, south side, from a point in line with the extended common boundary of Nos. 869 and 871 Longbridge Road for 5.1 metres in an easterly direction, around the new kerb build out, replacing ‘No Waiting at any time’ restrictions.
3. Introduce a new shared use one-way cycle track converting the existing footway at the following locations:
a. Longbridge Road, north side, from a point in line with the eastern boundary line of No. 871 Longbridge Road for 34 metres in an easterly direction, allowing cyclists to travel in an easterly direction.
