What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Tatworth and Forton Temporary Closure of Boundary Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Boundary Lane - from the junction with Chard Lane, eastwards for a distance of 257 metres. This Order will enable Kier to carry out flood related patching works on behalf of Somerset Council.
The Order becomes effective on 23rd September 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 28th September 2026 and last until 30th September 2026 between the hours of 07:00 - 17:00 for a total of 3 days.
