Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Prowles Cross - from the northern junction with Dorchester Road to the southern junction with Dorchester Road. A total distance of 467 metres. This Order will enable Kiely Bros to carry out pre-surface dressing patching works on behalf of Somerset Council.
The Order becomes effective on 23rd September 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 28th September 2026 and last until 2nd October 2026 between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00 for a total of 5 days.
