TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE B1112 ROAD FROM THE A1065 TO NORFOLK COUNTY BOUNDARY, ERISWELL
Suffolk County Council has made an Order closing the B1112 road from the A1065 to Norfolk County Boundary, Eriswell from the sewage works for 300 metres southbound to facilitate civil works and ducting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
It is intended that this measure will operate from 10/09/2026 - 16/09/2026 but, if necessary, the Order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF THE A131 GAINSBOROUGH ROAD, THE U8701 CROFT ROAD, U8702 THE CROFT AND THE A131 GREGORY STREET, SUDBURY
Suffolk County Council has made an Order closing the following roads:
• the A131 Gainsborough Road, Sudbury from Gregory Street for 90 metres north eastbound
• the U8701 Croft Road, Sudbury from New Street for 40 metres westbound
• the U8702 The Croft, Sudbury from Gainsborough Road for 10 metres westbound.
This is to facilitate a water meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
• (for Gainsborough Road) the A131, the A1124, the A1017, the A1092, the A134, the A131 and no vice versa;
• (for Croft Road) New Street, Prince Street and no vice versa;
• (The Croft) Beaconsfield Road and vice versa.
For the duration of this closure there will also be a temporary suspension of one-way traffic on the following roads:
• the A131 Gainsborough Road, Sudbury
• the A131 Gregory Street, Sudbury.
It is intended that these measures will operate from 7pm on 10/09/2026 - 6am on 11/09/2026 but, if necessary, the Order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4612 SILVER STREET, OLD NEWTON
Suffolk County Council has made an Order closing the U4612 Silver Street, Old Newton from Ward Green Farm for 60 metres northbound to facilitate pole and overhead cabling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Silver Street, the B1113, Hundred Lane, the U4654 from the U4612 to the B1113 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 10/09/2026 from 9am - 5pm. If necessary, the Order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1077 LOWGATE STREET, EYE
Suffolk County Council has made an Order closing the B1077 Lowgate Street, Eye from the junction with the B1117 to the junction with Church Close to facilitate cabling work. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1117, the B1118, the B1116, the A120, the B1077 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 10/09/2026 from 9.30am - 2.30pm but, if necessary, the Order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4630 SANDFORD ROAD, OLD NEWTON
Suffolk County Council has made an Order closing the U4630 Sandford Road, Old Newton from 65 metres south of the Gables for 150 metres northbound to facilitate cabling work. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be School Road, Chapel Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/09/2026 - 11/09/2026 but, if necessary, the Order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
(DISTRICT OF SUFFOLK COASTAL) (STOPPING, WAITING AND LOADING PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (MAP-BASED ORDER 2019) (DISTRICT OF SUFFOLK COASTAL) (WESTLETON) (B1125) (STOPPING, WAITING AND LOADING PROHIBITIONS) (VARIATION NO.25) ORDER 202X
Suffolk County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which would incorporate revision 0 of Map Tiles DM176 and DL176 into the above-named 2019 Order. The effect of this would be to introduce:
‘No waiting at any time’ on:
• East side of B1125 Reckford Road (B1125), Westleton, from its junction with U2832 Mill Street, in a northerly direction for 129 metres;
• East side of C225 Darsham Road (C225), Westleton, from a point 33 metres northwest of the junction with B1125 The Street, then in a southern direction for 55 metres, continuing round the junction onto the west side of B1125 The Street;
• West side of C225 Darsham Road (C225), Westleton, from a point 33 metres north of the junction with B1125 The Street, then in a southern direction for 23 metres;
• West side of B1125 The Street (B1125), Westleton, from a point 34 metres southwest of its junction with U2818 Village Green, then in a north easterly direction along the west side of the B1125 The Street for 43 metres around the bend into U2818 Village Green;
• North side of U2818 Village Green (U2818), Westleton, from its junction with B1125, then in a westerly direction for 12 metres onto The Street (B1125);
• North side of U2818 Bakers Lane (U2818), Westleton, from a point 11 metres southeast of its junction with B1125 The Street, then in a north westerly direction for 11 metres, continuing north on the east side of B1125 The Street for 15 metres;
• South side of U2818 Bakers Lane (U2818), Westleton, from a point 11 metres southeast of its junction with B1125 The Street, then in a north westerly direction for 11 metres, continuing south-easterly on the east side of B1125 The Street for 8 metres.
Exemptions to the waiting restrictions allow a vehicle to wait for so long as is necessary to board or alight or to load and unload for building, industrial or demolition works; for emergency services; for the maintenance of the road or its services; and for fulfilling statutory duties. There are the usual exemptions for blue badge-holders.
