o 21/09/2026 a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r darn hwnnw o Lôn Cloy, Owrtyn, o’r gyffordd â Ffordd yr Orsaf, yr A528, i’r gyffordd â Lôn Cae Dyah am 900 metr i alluogi MJ Quinn ar ran BT i ymgymryd â gwaith newid a gosod polion telathrebu newydd yn y lleiniau ymyl.

Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau y bydd cau’r ffordd yn effeithio arnynt yw trwy Lôn Cloy, Ffordd Bangor y B5069, Turning Street y B5069, Stryt Fawr yr A528, Stryd Penyllan yr A528, a Ffordd yr Orsaf yr A539, a bydd arwyddion yn cael eu gosod i ddangos hyn. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr yn cael ei gynnal trwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Disgwylir i’r gwaharddiad bara am 5 diwrnod (25/09/26), neu nes cwblhau’r gwaith os bydd hynny’n gynt, a gallai bara hyd at 18 mis.

WREXHAM COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE A
Temporary (Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order Under Section 14(1) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

effective from 21/09/2026 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Cloy Lane, Overton between its junction with A539 Station Road and Cae Dyah Lane for a distance of 900m to enable MJ Quinn, on behalf of BT to replace and install new telecommunication poles in the verges.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Cloy Lane, B5069 Bangor Road, B5069 Turning Street, A528 High Street, A528 Pen-y-Llan Street and A539 Station Road, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 5 days (25/09/26), or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
