SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
LOB LANE, SAXON ROAD & THE CRESCENT,
STAMFORD BRIDGE
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along
Lob Lane, Saxon Road & The Crescent, Stamford Bridge
between the junction of Moor Road through to both
junctions with Church Road commencing 7 October
2026 at 08.00 hours until 12 October 2026 at 17.00
hours to allow for carriageway maintenance patching
works. The road closure is necessary to enable the
works to be carried out in a manner consistent with
ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for
18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
completed within six days. The alternative route for
traffic affected by the road closure will be via:
Moor Road and Church Road, Stamford Bridge CP,
Pocklington Provincial Ward. The diversion route
will be signed at the time of closure. The road will
be closed to all through traffic but access will be
maintained for residents, emergency vehicles and
pedestrians. Further information can be obtained
