THE BOROUGH OF LUTON (STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.**) ORDER 2026. THE BOROUGH OF LUTON (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.**) ORDER 2026. THE BOROUGH OF LUTON (CONTROLLED PARKING AREAS) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.**) ORDER 2026. THE BOROUGH OF LUTON PARKING PLACES (CAR CLUBS) (AMENDMENT NO.**) ORDER 2026. THE BOROUGH OF LUTON (SPEED LIMITS) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.**) ORDER 2026.

NOTICE is hereby given that Luton Borough Council, the Highway Authority for the said Borough, intends to make the above Orders under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

The general effect of the Orders will be to:
1. Introduce various lengths of No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on Atherstone Road, Cannon Lane, Churchill Road, Colwell Court, Colwell Rise, Cosgrove Way, Dellcot Close, Dunstable Road, Elderberry Close, Hawthorn Avenue, Hayes Close, Mountfield Road, Osborne Road, Putteridge Road, Rydal Way, Selsey Drive, Stapleford Close, Sunridge Avenue, Thirlstone Road, Westmorland Avenue.
2. Introduce the off-street parking area on Boyle Close as parking for Resident Permit Holders Only (Zone HT), operating between 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday inclusive.
3. Revoke and remove the Resident Permit Holders Parking Only Past This Point restriction in operation Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm in Zone VP from Holtsmere Close, Newnham Close, Barrowby Close, Gresham Close and introduce various lengths of No Waiting at Any Time and No Waiting in operation Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm restrictions in their place.
4. Revoke and remove a length of parking bay from outside No.80 Lime Avenue to facilitate off-street parking and introduce No Waiting at Any Time restriction in its place.
5. Introduce a length of bus stop clearway on Osborne Road.
6. Introduce various lengths of Car Club only parking bays on Alma Street, Bute Street, Collingdon Street, Dudley Street, Gordon Street, Manor Road.
7. Revoke the 40mph speed limit restriction on Newlands Road from its junction with Farley Hill to the Borough boundary and install a 30mph speed limit restriction in its place.
8. Revoke the 40mph speed limit restriction on Hatters Way from its junction with Chaul End Lane roundabout to the Borough boundary and install a 30mph speed limit restriction in its place.
9. Introduce on Maidenhall Road various lengths of No Stopping on School Markings in operation Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm during term time only.
10. Introduce various lengths of No Waiting at Any Time and No Loading at Any Time restrictions on Hazelbury Crescent, Ivy Road, Shaftesbury Road, Warwick Road West.
11. Correct an anomaly between on-street restrictions and the map-based plans for Bishopscote Road, Bristol Road, Northwell Drive, St Margarets Avenue.
