What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE C519 EYE ROAD, HOXNE

Suffolk County Council has made an Order closing the C519 Eye Road, Hoxne from Garden Cottage to Goldbrook Bridge to facilitate pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Eye Road, Nuttery Vale, Cross Street, Abbey Hill, Goldbrook and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 09/09/2026 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the Order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE C705 HALL ROAD, BRENT ELEIGH

Suffolk County Council has made an Order closing the C705 Hall Road, Brent Eleigh from Hall Farm to The Street to facilitate remedial repairs to a telecommunications defect. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Tye Road, Church Hill, the A1141 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/09/2026 - 10/09/2026 from 8am - 5pm but, if necessary, the Order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C680 MILL

ROAD, BROCKLEY AND HARTEST

Suffolk County Council has made an Order closing the following roads:

? the C680 Mill Road, Brockley

? the C680 Mill Road, Hartest from Bury Road, Brockley to Ashlea

This is to facilitate the installation of a fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1066, Somerton Road, Lower Street, Road south east from C681, Road from C676 to C675 and C677, The Green, Rede Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/09/2026 - 17/09/2026 but, if necessary, the Order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE C950 HALESWORTH ROAD, WISSETT

Suffolk County Council has made an Order closing the C950 Halesworth Road, Wissett from 740 metres east of the junction with Grays Lane for 100 metres eastbound to facilitate the replacement of a communications pole. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Grays Lane, Gavell Street, the A144 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 09/09/2026 but, if necessary, the Order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

THE U3628 BROOK STREET, WOODBRIDGE

Suffolk County Council has made an Order closing the U3628 Brook Street, Woodbridge from no. 3 for 30 metres north westbound to facilitate stop tap replacements. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Quay Side, Hamblin Road and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/09/2026 - 11/09/2026 but, if necessary, the Order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

FOOTPATH VARIOUS FOOTPATHS AND VARIOUS

BRIDLEWAYS, WESTLETON AND DUNWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an Order closing the following footpaths and bridleways:

* Footpath 17, Westleton

* Footpath 2, Dunwich

* Bridleway 1, Dunwich

* Footpath 18, Dunwich

* Bridleway 18, Westleton

* Footpath 19, Westleton

* Footpath 16, Dunwich

* Footpath 17, Dunwich

* Bridleway 14, Dunwich

* Footpath 15, Dunwich, and

* Bridleway 22, Westleton from Footpath 20 Westleton to Bridleway 18 Westleton.

This is for safety reasons due to the wildfire at Dunwich Heath. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

There is no alternative route.

This Order continues in force the emergency measures operating since 20/08/2026.

It is intended that the closure will operate until 19/02/2027 (or longer if extended by the Minister).
