Bradford - Introduction of Westbound Bus Lane & Cycle Lane Restrictions

(MOVING TRAFFIC) (CONSOLIDATION)(AMENDMENT NO.3) ORDER 2026

BRADFORD BUS HOTSPOT SCHEME – BOLTON ROAD/STONE HALL ROAD, BRADFORD

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 8th September 2026 under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce the following on the A6167 Bolton Road in the Eccleshill area: -

1. Bus lane with flow in a west bound direction between the junction with Pullan Avenue and a point near 18 Thornbridge Mews to operate Monday to Friday from 7.30AM to 9.30AM and from 4pm to 6.30pm.

2. Cycle lane with flow in a westbound direction between a point near 12 Thornbridge Mews and the junction with Idle Road to operate, 24 hours seven days a week.

The Order comes into force on 11th September 2026 and a copy of the Order together with a map showing the affected roads may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY or examined on the council web site at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order quoting reference number PTH/HS/105805/TRO/JC.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made on 8th September 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
