(WORSLEY CRESCENT, NEWTON MEARNS) TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD ORDER 2026

On the 25th August 2026 The East Renfrewshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order authorises the restriction of vehicular access on a section of Worsley Crescent, Newton Mearns (from its junction with Warnock Road to its second junction with Warnock Road).

The Order has been promoted in order to facilitate the safe resurfacing on or near the road, scheduled to be carried out from 08:00 on Monday 19th October to 17:00 on Friday 13th November 2026.

The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.

Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
