HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA (“y Cyngor”) yn Bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â’r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:

1. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 18fed Medi 2026 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw’n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw’r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau rhwng 18fed Medi 2026 a’r 28ain Medi 2026. Ni fydd y gwaith yn cael ei wneud yn barhaus drwy gydol y cyfnod hwn a bydd y ffyrdd yma ond ar gau ar y dyddiadau penodol fel y nodir isod.

2. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i wneud gwaith ffilmio mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Bydd mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.

1. Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd:I. Cau dros dro rhan o’r Sgwâr, Magwyr, Sir Fynwy, o’r gyffordd â Maes Parcio Sgwâr Magwyr am ~80m.
2. II. Cau dros dro rhan o’r Sgwâr, Magwyr, Sir Fynwy, o’r gyffordd â Heol Casnewydd i’w chyffordd â Maes Parcio Sgwâr Magwyr. Bydd y rhan hon o’r Sgwâr, Magwyr ar gau ddydd Llun 21 Medi 2026.
3. III. Cau dros dro rhan o Heol Casnewydd, Magwyr, Sir Fynwy, o’r gyffordd â Llys Wheatsheaf i’r gyffordd â Hen Heol Magwyr. Bydd y rhan hon o Heol Casnewydd, Magwyr ar gau ddydd Llun 21ain Medi 2026.
5. Bydd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn:

Llwybr Dargyfeirio A – Heol Casnewydd, Heol Redwick ac i’r gwrthwyneb.

Llwybr Dargyfeirio B – Heol Redwick, Heol Casnewydd, B4245, Hen Heol Magwyr ac i’r gwrthwyneb.

1. Gellir enwi’r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Y Sgwâr a Heol Casnewydd, Magwyr, Sir Fynwy 2026.
2. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL(THE SQUARE AND NEWPORT ROAD, MAGOR, MONMOUTHSHIRE)TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

1. The Order shall come into operation on the 18th September 2026 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 18th September 2026 and 28th September 2026. The works will not be undertaken continuously throughout this period and will only take place on specific dates and at varying times, as requested below.

2. The order is necessary for filming works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.

1. The effect of the order will be:I. To temporarily close a section of The Square, Magor, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Magor Square Car Park for ~80m.
2. II. To temporarily close a section of The Square, Magor, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Newport Road to its junction with Magor Square Car Park. This section of The Square, Magor will be closed on Monday 21st September 2026.
3. III. To temporarily close a section of Newport Road, Magor, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Wheatsheaf Court to its junction with Old Magor Road. This section of Newport Road, Magor will be closed on Monday 21st September 2026.
5. A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows:-

Diversion Route A – Newport Road, Redwick Road and vice versa.

Diversion Route B – Redwick Road, Newport Road, B4245, Old Magor Road and vice versa.

1. This order may be cited as the The Square and Newport Road, Magor, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026
2. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
