What is happening?

BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE

(GREENHILL ROAD, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time along the northerly side of Greenhill Road from its junction with Vicarage Lane/Church Road for a distance of 54 metres in a south easterly direction (to outside Number 49a Greenhill Road).

The Order is required to facilitate water works within the Carriageway & Footway and to allow for unobstructed vehicular travel along Greenhill Road past Road Works.

The Order will be operative from 07.30 hours on 24th September 2026 until 18.00 hours on 25th September 2026.
