London Borough of Southwark - Elm Grove - temporary cycle hire parking place restriction

LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) (ELM GROVE) 

(TEMPORARY CYCLE HIRE PARKING PLACE RESTRICTION)     

1. The Council of the London Borough of Southwark hereby gives notice that to improve road safety, it intends to make an order to temporarily introduce restrictions detailed in section 2 of this order on Elm Grove SE15 at locations described in the schedule of this order.

2. The effect of the order is to (a) prohibit parking, stopping, waiting and loading of all vehicles except dockless hire bikes and dockless hire escooters in the locations described in the schedule of this order. (b) temporarily introduce parking bays for the sole use of dockless hire bikes and dockless escooters as detailed in the schedule of this order.

3. When road markings and signs are in place, no person shall cause a vehicle except dockless hire bikes and hire escooters to park in the locations detailed in the schedule of this order.

4. The temporary traffic order will be in operation from the 25th of September 2026. This order remains valid until the 6th of January 2028.
