TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF B1122 ABBEY ROAD AND PART OF LOVERS LANE, LEISTON
SIZEWELL C (Nuclear Generating Station) intends to make an order closing part of B1122 Abbey Road from its junction with Rowley Mews to its junction with Potters Street and Lovers Lane from its junction with Abbey Road to its junction with King George's Avenue to facilitate works associated with the completion of the Plaza Roundabout. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route for Abbey Road will be B1122, B1069, A1094, A12, B1122 and vice versa.
The diversion route for Lovers Lane will be King George's Avenue, B1122 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate between 8pm on Friday 25th September until 5am on 28th September and between 8pm on Friday 2nd October until 5am on Monday 5th October. Enquiries should be made to Sizewell C Information Office at 48-50 High Street, Leiston, IP16 4EW between 9.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
