What is happening?

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
The County of Cornwall (Red Lane, Rosudgeon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Rosudgeon.

This prohibition is necessary for new water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th October 2026 to 9th October 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Red Lane, Rosudgeon between property named Nampara and property named The Meadow.

The County of Cornwall (Penalverne Crescent, Penzance) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Penzance.

This prohibition is necessary for gas disconnection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th October 2026 to 9th October 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Penalverne Crescent, Penzance for its entire length

The County of Cornwall (Mousehole Lane, Parc An Gate, Chapel Place, Duck Street, Access To Southview Terrace, Foxes Lane, Commercial Road, Quay Street, Parade Hill and The Parade, Mousehole) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Stopping) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Mousehole.

This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th October 2026 to 31st October 2026. Roads subject to prohibition - Mousehole Lane, Parc An Gate, Chapel Place, Duck Street, Access To Southview Terrace, Foxes Lane, Commercial Road, Quay Street, Parade Hill, The Parade, Mousehole for their entire lengths.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Mousehole.

Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Roads subject to stopping prohibition - Mousehole Lane, Parc An Gate, Chapel Place, Duck Street, Access To Southview Terrace, Foxes Lane, Commercial Road, Quay Street, Parade Hill, The Parade, Mousehole for their entire lengths

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing No Entry Order cited as The County of Cornwall (Mousehole) (Various Streets) (Restrictions on Driving) Order 1975 Regent Terrace (North Street) (Unclassified) for its entire length.

The prohibitions will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.
