Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026 –  Woodfield Road  Ref: 27-167

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Woodfield Road, at the junction with Mayors Walk. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Westwood Park Road, Mayors Walk and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 09/09/2026 and will continue until the water main works have been completed or until the 08/09/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 09/09/2026 and the 11/09/2026. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026 –  Churchfield Court  Ref: 27-186

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Churchfield Court, as lies between number 1 and a point approximately 20m north. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order. Access will be maintained. The proposed order will come into force on the 07/09/2026 and will continue until the ducting installation works have been completed or until the 06/09/2027, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Footpaths around Larch Grove, as lies between the main office and the side of number 53. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is: footpaths around Larch Grove, access will be maintained. The Order will come into operation on the 07/09/2026 and will continue until the overlay works have been completed or until the 06/03/2027, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Footpaths around Monks Grove and Cardinals Gate, as lies between numbers 13 and 14. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/ cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is signed locally on site. The Order will come into operation on the 08/09/2026 and will continue until the ducting installation works have been completed or until the 07/03/2027, whichever is the earlier. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Lincoln Road, Deeping St James Road, Peakirk Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 08/09/2026 and will continue until the communication pipe repair works have been completed or until the 07/09/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 08/09/2026 and the 10/09/2026. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: None available. The proposed order will come into force on the 16/09/2026 and will continue until the duct installation works have been completed or until the 15/09/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 16/09/2026 and the 18/09/2026. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Peakirk Road, Deeping St James Road, Lincoln Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 14/09/2026 and will continue until the sewer lining works have been completed or until the 13/09/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 14/09/2026 and the 18/09/2026. The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Orton Longueville 9 Section 1 Footpath, for it’s entire length. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is: Lady Lodge Drive, Charles Cope Road, footpaths side of 16 Charles Cope Road. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14/09/2026 and will continue until the cut and patch works have been completed or until the 13/03/2027, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough, Unamed footpath between Bishops Road and Peterborough 44 Section 1 Footpath, Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, (Temporary Restriction of Through Traffic), Notice 27-210 2026    Ref: 27-210

The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath known as Unamed footpath between Bishops Road and Peterborough 44 Section 1 Footpath, for it’s entire length. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this Notice. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is: Bishops Road and Peterborough 44 Section 1 Footpath. This notice is made in the interest of street lighting installation works and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from 07/09/2026. The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or any person acting with permission or upon the direction of a police Officer in uniform.
