Scropton Road - Temporary Road Closure For Pole Replacement
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE SCROPTON ROAD, HATTON
WHEN: 01 October 2026 (00:00 to 01:00)
WHERE: Scropton Road, Hatton between Castle View and Clayton Gardens.
REASON: To facilitate pole replacement.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Scropton Road, Main Street, Watery Lane, Unnamed section of A511 from A50 to Uttoxeter Road, Uttoxeter Road, Station Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
