DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y'i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.

Mae angen cau'r ffordd er mwyn cynnal gwaith gosod wyneb newydd arni.

• Stryd Caerdydd, i gyfeiriad y de-ddwyrain yn unig, o'i chyffordd â Sgwâr Fictoria i'w chyffordd â Stryd y Groes

Nodwch: Bydd Gorchymyn Cyngor Dosbarth Trefol Aberdâr (Rheoleiddio Traffig) 1951 yn cael ei atal dros dro lle mae'n cyfeirio at y Stryd Fawr, rhwng ei chyffordd â Sgwâr Fictoria a'i chyffordd â Stryd y Canon, a hynny er mwyn galluogi traffig dwyffordd yn y Stryd Fawr a sicrhau bod mynediad i gerbydau o hyd. 

Nodwch: Bydd mynediad i gerbydau o hyd yn Stryd Biwt.

Nodwch: Bydd Gorchymyn Cyngor Dosbarth Trefol Aberdâr (Sgwâr Fictoria, Aberdâr) (Unffordd) (1966) yn cael ei atal dros dro am gyfnod Cam 2, a hynny er mwyn galluogi traffig dwyffordd a mynediad i gerbydau.

• Nodwch: Bydd mynediad i gerbydau o hyd yn Stryd Biwt.

Bydd mynediad o hyd i gerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys, i gerddwyr ac er mwyn cyrraedd eiddo.

Fydd DIM mynediad i fysiau, coetsys na cherbydau trafnidiaeth gyhoeddus.

Mae disgwyl i'r ffyrdd fod ar gau yn ôl yr angen rhwng y dyddiadau a'r amseroedd canlynol, neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau. Bydd y ffyrdd ar gau fesul cam, gyda dim ond un set o ffyrdd ar gau ar unrhyw adeg:

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE & ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The closure is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.

Phase 1
Temporary Road Closures
• Victoria Square, from the north-eastern side of the War Memorial to its junction with the eastern side of Wind Street and the western side of Church Street. 

• Cardiff Street, north-westbound lane only, from its junction with Cross Street to its junction with Victoria Square.

• Bute Street, from its junction with Cross Street to its junction with Victoria Square

Alternative Route – available via Cardiff Street, Tinney’s Roundabout, A4059, A4233, Gadlys Roundabout, High Street and Canon Street.

Temporary One Way Traffic:
• Cardiff Street, in a south-eastbound direction only, from its junction with Victoria Square to its junction with Cross Street.

NB: The Aberdare Urban District Council (Traffic Regulation) Order 1951 will be temporarily suspended where its refers to High Street, between its junction with Victoria Square and its junction with Canon Street, to allow two-way traffic to operate in High Street to maintain vehicular access.

NB: Vehicular access will be maintained in Bute

Street
Phase 2
Temporary Road Closures
• North-western lane of Victoria Square, from its junction with Cardiff Street to its junction with High Street

• High Street, from its junction with Victoria Square to its junction with Canon Street

• Bute Street, from its junction with Cross Street to its junction with Victoria Square.

NB: The Urban District Council of Aberdare (Victoria Square, Aberdare) (One-Way) (Order 1966) will be temporarily suspended for the duration of closure 2, to allow two-way traffic for vehicular access.

NB: Vehicular access will be maintained in Bute Street.

Access will be maintained for emergency services, pedestrians and to premises.

Access WILL NOT be maintained for buses, coaches or public transport

The closure is expected to be in operation as and when needed between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed. Please note that the closures will be phased with only one closure in operation at any time: -
• 3 nighttime closures from 18:00 – 23:59 21st September – 23rd September 2026
