What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE SOMERSAL LANE, MARSTON MONTGOMERY
WHEN: 28 September to 30 September 2026
WHERE: Somersal Lane, Marston Montgomery between The Milking Parlour and Cliffe Field View.
REASON: To facilitate new water connection.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Riggs Lane, Hollyhurst Lane, Vernon Oaks Lane, Bowling Alley Lane, Somersal Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
