What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ASH LANE, JAMES LANE, SUTTON ON THE HILL
WHEN: 28 September to 02 October 2026 (08:00 to 18:00)
WHERE: Ash Lane, James Lane, Sutton on the Hill between Commonpiece Lane and Ash Lane.
REASON: To facilitate excavation to clear blockages.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Unnamed section of C45 from C46 Commonpiece Lane to C245 Heage Lane, Heage Lane, Derby Road, Ash Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
