MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 ymhen dim llai na 7 niwrnod i ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn. Mae angen y Gorchymyn arfaethedig er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A465 neu gerllaw iddi rhwng Cylchfan Hardwick, y Fenni, a ffin Cymru/Lloegr.
Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd gwneud y canlynol dros dro:
(1) gwahardd pob cerbyd, ac eithrio’r rhai a ddefnyddir gan y gwasanaethau brys ac ar gyfer y gwaith, rhag mynd ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A465 a ddisgrifir yn yr Atodlen i’r Hysbysiad hwn. Disgrifir y trefniadau ar gyfer llwybrau eraill yn yr Atodlen honno hefyd;
(2) gwahardd pob beiciwr a phob cerddwr rhag mynd ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A465 a ddisgrifir yn yr Atodlen i’r Hysbysiad hwn;
(3) gosod terfynau cyflymder 50mya a 40mya ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A465 a ddisgrifir yn yr Atodlen i’r Hysbysiad hwn;
(4) gosod terfyn cyflymder 10mya ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A465 a ddisgrifir yn yr Atodlen i’r Hysbysiad hwn. Dim ond yn ystod gwaith confoi y bydd y terfyn cyflymder 10mya yn gymwys ac ni chaniateir goddiweddyd ar yr adegau hyn. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 16 Medi 2026. Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiadau a’r cyfyngiadau dros dro, y codir arwyddion priodol yn eu cylch, yn weithredol dros nos o 20:00 o’r gloch ar 16 Medi 2026 hyd 06:00 o’r gloch ar 30 Medi 2026, neu hyd nes y caiff yr arwyddion traffig dros dro eu symud ymaith yn barhaol. Dim ond yn ystod y cyfnod a bennir uchod y disgwylir i’r gwaharddiadau a’r cyfyngiadau dros dro fod yn weithredol. Er hynny, bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau’n ddilys am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf rhag ofn y bydd angen ailamserlennu’r gwaith neu wneud gwaith canlyniadol oherwydd amgylchiadau nad oedd modd eu rhag-weld. Bydd hysbysiad ymlaen llaw am unrhyw newidiadau i’r amseroedd a’r dyddiadau yn cael ei arddangos cyn gwneud unrhyw waith a ailamserlennir.

Y darn o gefnffordd yr A465 sy’n ymestyn o’i chyffordd â’r gerbytffordd gylchredol wrth System Gylchu Hardwick hyd at ffin Cymru/Lloegr, yn Sir Fynwy.
Llwybrau Eraill
Y llwybr arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r de yw ar hyd yr A465 tua’r gogledd i Henffordd, yr A49 tua’r de, yr A4137 tua’r de, yr A40 tua’r de i ffordd ymadael Rhaglan, i aros ar yr A40 tua’r gorllewin nes ailymuno â’r A465 wrth System Gylchu Hardwick.

THE A465 TRUNK ROAD (HARDWICK ROUNDABOUT, ABERGAVENNY,
TO THE WALES/ENGLAND BORDER, MONMOUTHSHIRE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 202-
THE WELSH MINISTERS propose, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A465 trunk road between Hardwick Roundabout, Abergavenny, and the Wales/England Border. The effect of the proposed Order will be to temporarily:
(1) prohibit all vehicles, other than those being used by the emergency services and for the works, from proceeding on the length of the A465 trunk road described in the Schedule to this Notice. The alternative route arrangements are also described therein;
(2) prohibit all cyclists and pedestrians from proceeding on the length of the A465 trunk road described in the Schedule to this Notice;
(3) impose 50 and 40mph speed limits on the length of the A465 trunk road described in the Schedule to this Notice;
(4) impose a 10mph speed limit on the length of the A465 trunk road described in the Schedule to this Notice. The 10mph speed limit will only apply during convoy working and no overtaking will be permitted at these times.
The Order will come into force on 16 September 2026. The temporary prohibitions and restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, are expected to operate overnight from 20:00 hours on 16 September 2026 until 06:00 hours on 30 September 2026, or until the temporary traffic signs are permanently removed. Although the temporary prohibitions and restrictions are only expected to operate during the period specified above, the Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months, as a contingency, should the work need to be rescheduled, or consequential work is required due to unforeseen circumstances. Advance notice of any changes to times and dates will be displayed before any rescheduled work.

The length of the A465 trunk road that extends from its junction with the circulatory carriageway at Hardwick Gyratory to the Wales/England border, in Monmouthshire.
Alternative Routes
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the A465 northbound to Hereford, the A49 southbound, the A4137 southbound, the A40 southbound to the Raglan off-slip, to remain on the westbound A40 until rejoining the A465 at the Hardwick Gyratory.
Vice versa for northbound traffic.
