TEMPORARY PATH CLOSURE COMMUNITIES OF DUNVANT AND GOWERTON (BRIDLEWAYS DU92, GN116,FOOTPATH GN115)

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea in pursuance of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order. The closure is required for health and safety reasons whilst works are undertaken to improve the surface of the bridleway/active travel route between Dunvant Square and Gowerton.

FOOTPATH AND BRIDLEWAY TO BE CLOSED:

Footpath GN115 from Oakwood Drive in a southerly direction for 240 metres to the junction with bridleways GN68 and GN116.

Bridleway GN116 from the junction with bridleway GN68 and footpath GN115 in a southerly direction for 430 metres to the junction with bridleway DU92.

Bridleway DU92 from the junction with bridleway GN116 in a southerly direction for 1130 metres to the junction with bridleway DU90 at Dunvant Square.

The closure will operate from 5 October 2026 for a period of six months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier.
