BRIGHTON & HOVE VARIOUS CONTROLLED PARKING ZONES CONSOLIDATION ORDER

2024 AMENDMENT ORDER NO.11 2026 (REF: TRO-10-2026)

NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council (“the Council”) has on 2 September 2026 made the Order named above under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into operation on 7 September 2026 will introduce the following:

CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE R

• Westbourne Gardens – Proposed reduction of permit parking bay and replaced with double yellow lines for communal refuse and recycling bins

• Portland Road and Rutland Gardens – Proposed reduction of shared parking bays and replaced with double yellow lines for communal refuse and recycling bins

A copy of this Notice, the proposed Order, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be seen online at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/current-tros.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
