Multiple Roads, Gosport, Alverstoke - Temporary Road Closure due to Michaelmas Fayre 2026
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Alverstoke Michaelmas Fayre 2026 to take place out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: 1. Green Road between its junction with The Avenue and its junction with Anglesey Road. Village Road between its junction with The Avenue and its junction with Coward Road. Church Road between its junction with Village Road and its junction with Anglesey Road. Little Lane between its junction with Church Road and its junction with Green Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: North-Anglesey Road, Bury Road, The Avenue. South-Village Road, Jellicoe Road, Stokes Bay Road, Anglesey Road. DURATION OF ORDER: from Sunday 26th September 2026 between the hours 08:30 – 17:00 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the event is being carried out.
The Temporary Road Closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event of the Alverstoke Michaelmas Fayre 2026.
