THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL (PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY No. 156

(PART) HIGH WYCOMBE) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2026

made on 17 August 2026, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public bridleway running from SU86904-91361 ENE for 53M to SU86948-91384, as shown by a bold continuous line on the Order map, to a line running from SU86904-91361 ESE for 18M to SU86922-91359, then NE for 4M to SU86926-91361, then ESE for 13M to SU86938-91359, then NNE for 10M to SU86940-91368, then WNW for 4M to SU86937-91370, then NE for 17M to SU86948-91384, as shown by a bold broken line on the Order map and having a width of 2.5M throughout. Full details of the Order are available at Reception, Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA and at High Wycombe Library during normal opening hours. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from the Council at a cost of £5.00 by writing to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team at the address given below. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing stating the grounds on which they are made to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team, 6th Floor, Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA or email row@buckinghamshire.gov.uk by no later than 2 October 2026. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, this Council is obliged to make any representations received in response to this notice open to public inspection.
