(DRYBROOK PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C29 Brierley Banks from outside of the property known as ‘Gida Namu’ to outside of the property known as ‘Forest View’ for a distance of approximately 190 metres.
The reason for the closure is for pole renewal works on behalf of BT Openreach
The road is expected to be closed between the hours of 12:00 and 17:00 on 11th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C16 ROAD FROM JUNCTION WITH A48 TO JUNCTION WITH PINE TREE WAY
(WEST DEAN AND AWRE PARISHES) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C16 Road from its junction with A48 to its junction with Pine Tree Way in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 1360 metres.
The reason for the closure is for gully clearance works.
The road is expected to be closed from 14th September 2026 to 18th September 2026 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner. The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water The road is expected to be closed from 14th September 2026 to 16th September 2026 only.

The reason for the closure is for network utility works.
The road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 15th September 2026 until 17:00hrs on 16th September 2026 only.
However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the C39 George Lane Road from its junction with Broad Street to outside of the property known as ‘Chestnut Lodge’ for a distance of approximately 1000 metres.
The reason for the closure and restriction is for drainage works
The road is expected to be closed and restricted from 14th September 2026 until 18th September 2026.

The reason for the closure is for network utility works. The road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 14th September 2026 until 17:00hrs
on 15th September 2026 only.

approximately 280 metres. The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of BT Openreach
The road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 on 25th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for maintenance works by Network Rail 
The road is expected to be closed from 23:55hrs on 28th September 2026 until 06:00hrs on 29th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.
The road is expected to be closed and restricted from 28th September 2026 until 30th September 2026 but the closure may be extended, if necessary, until the works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH RWD 34
(WEST DEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath RWD 34 from its junction with Public Footpath RWD
32 & RWD 33 in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 500 metres.
The footpath falls within the Parish of West Dean within the Forest of Dean District, Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the health and safety of public whilst filming of fast-moving vehicles is completed.
The Order will come into force from 07:00hrs on the 21st September 2026, and it is anticipated that the footpath will remain closed until 19:00hrs on 23rd September 2026. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
