(Church Square, St Osyth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Square, St. Osyth in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Spring Road to its junction with The Bury a distance of approximately 100m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd October 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2399150 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Spring Road, The Bury and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 10th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Roydon Way, Frinton On Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Roydon Way, Frinton On Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Elm Tree Avenue to its junction with Walton Road a distance of approximately 215m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th September 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2405134 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Elm Tree Avenue, Walton Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 10th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Tye Road/Wick Road, Great Bentley & Bentley Road, St Osyth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Bentley Road/Wick Road, Great Bentley/St Osyth in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 480m south west of the junction with High Birch Road for a distance of approximately 830m in a south westerly, north westerly then south westerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of The Tye Road, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring, from both of its junctions with Wick Road for a distance of approximately 480m in a north easterly then north westerly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 28th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311003WGPWM35H, BC311004WGPWM35H & BC311005WGPWM35H – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via:

1. Wick Road, Aingers Green Road, Plough Road, Weeley Road, Shair Lane, A133, B1441, Bentley Road and vice versa.

2. The Tye Road, Lovers Lane, St Marys Road, Aingers Green Road, Wick Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 10th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Battisford Drive, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Battisford Drive, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Bluehouse Avenue to its junction with Saxstead Drive a distance of approximately 180m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th September 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2399552 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway patching and kerbing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Saxstead Drive, Saxmundham Way, Tyler Avenue, Bluehouse Avenue and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 27th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Frinton Road & Clacton Road, Great Holland)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & a Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Frinton Road & Clacton Road, Great Holland in the District of Tendring, from the junction of Frinton Road Roundabout to the junction of Little Clacton Road a distance of approximately 2660m.

2. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

“The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closure/clearway is scheduled to commence on 14th September 2026 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2410038 & EP201EH2410038A – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/clearway is required for the safety of the public and workforce while SWAS works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via B1032, B1033, B1414, B1027, B1032 and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 27th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
