Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
A452 KENILWORTH ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: A 30-mph Speed Limit will be imposed on A452 Kenilworth Road, Leamington Spa between the junction Sandy Lane, Blackdown and Gables House, Leamington Spa.
Reason for Order: For the safety of all road users and of contractors working on footway construction.
Order Commences: 1 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 May 2027.

RAGLAN GROVE, KENILWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to lay ducting for new customer connection.
Order Commences: 1 September 2026 for up to 18 months.

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

CHURCH ROAD, HONILEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Trial hole works to find route for proposed pipeline.
Order Commences: 1 September 2026 for up to 18 months.

Access & Diversion: Church Road, Honiley Road, Brickyard Lane, Clattyland Lane and vice versa.

CHURCH LANE AND OLD BUDBROOKE ROAD, BUDBROOKE
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works as part of Severn Trent water mains renewal scheme.
Order Commences: 1 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 27 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Old Budbrooke Road, Birmingham Road, Brownley Green Lane, Hatton Hill, Hockley Road, Dark Lane, Norton Curlieu Lane, Henley Road, Hampton Road and vice versa.

WHATELEYS DRIVE, KENILWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to clear blockages in BT/ Openreach duct.
Order Commences: 2 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Spring Lane, Albion Street, Upper Rosemary Hill, Priory Road and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works as part of the water mains replacement scheme.

Access & Diversion: Stratford Road, A46, Barford Road, Watery Lane, Fulbrook Lane and vice versa.

BANBURY ROAD, BISHOPS TACHBROOK
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Greys Mallory roundabout and the junction of Barford Road, including the access road to the Asps development.
Reason for Order: To enable remedial carriageway works, overnight 20.00hrs-06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 1 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Banbury Road, Myton Road, Europa Way and vice versa.

D5571 WATERY LANE, SHERBOURNE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its Junction with A429 and for a distance of 120 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason for Order: Drainage maintenance and associated works.
Order Commences: 14 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 25 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: A429, Stratford Road.

OAKS ROAD, KENILWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from St Nicholas Ave to Rounds Hill.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 17 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 17 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Rounds Hill, Rouncil Lane, Mortimer Road, St Nicholas Avenue and vice versa.

FIELDGATE LANE, KENILWORTH
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from New Street to Upper Spring Lane
In addition, the one-way traffic flow on Fieldgate Lane will be temporarily suspended.
Reason for Order: Carriage patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 16 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: A429 New Street, A429 Coventry Road and Upper Spring Lane. Access will be maintained as works and site safety permits, from the north entrance of Fieldgate Lane via the suspended one-way “No Entry” point.

C21 ROUNCIL LANE, BEAUSALE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Dirty Lane to Fernwood Farm.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 18 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 18 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Dirty Lane, School Lane, Haseley Knob Road, Honiley Road, A452, Fieldgate Lane, Warwick Road, Bridge Street, Abbey Hill.

A429 COVENTRY ROAD, KENILWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Woodland Road and Kenilworth Road/Crackley Bridge. Reason for Order: Carriageway surfacing and associated works, 08.00hrs-17.00hrs.
Order Commences: 13 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: A429 Coventry Road, A429 New Street, A452 Bridge Street, A452 Priory Road, A452 Waverley Road, A452 Warwick Road, A452 St Johns, A452 Leamington Road, A46 Kenilworth Bypass, A45 Stonebridge Highway, A45 Kenpas Highway, A429 Kenilworth Road, and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, LEAMINGTON SPA) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026
Warwickshire County Council has made the above-named Order, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the roads Admiral Way, Badgers Retreat, Beavers Brook, Brimstone End, Burgundy Gardens, Chalkhill Place, Chesterton Drive, Emperor Boulevard, Grayling Crescent, Hastang Fields, Horsepool Hollow, Kingfishers Reach, Littleworth Croft, Marbled Close, Mill Pond Meadows, Otters Rest, Parish End, Pebble Island Way, Redhill Furrows, St Fremund Way, Peacock Close and Withy Bank in varying lengths as per the Order’s Schedule. The Order commences on 01 September 2026.
A copy of the Order, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons to make the Order may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick during usual opening hours, or online at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district
