THE WANDSWORTH (LYNN ROAD) SW12 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 Ref - TMO-06-26-116
WHEREAS the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth (“the Council”) being the Highway Authority for Lynn Road is satisfied that traffic on the said road in the said London Borough should be restricted to facilitate Thames Water utility works (“the works”).
NOW THEREFORE the Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order shall come into operation on 14 September 2026 and may be cited as The Wandsworth (Lynn Road) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2026.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Lynn Road in the southbound direction from the junction with Cathles Road to opposite number 2. There will be no waiting at any time.
3. Nothing in Article 2 above shall apply to anything done:
(a) with the permission or at the direction of a Police Constable in uniform or a person authorised by the Council; or
(b) by any person using a vehicle for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposed or by the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency; or
(c) by any person associated with the works.
4. The order will come into operation on 14 September 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 18 September 2026.

PROPOSED WAITING RESTRICTIONS
WEST DRIVE, SW16
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under section 6 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
• The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. **) Order 202;
2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce waiting restrictions operating at any time in west Drive around the junction of West Drive and Ullathorne Road and on the western side of West Drive between its junction with Ullathorne Road and a point 132 metres north-west of that junction.
3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.
4. Any person wishing to make a comment about the proposals should send a statement in writing to the Executive Director of Resident Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice

GREENSTEAD GARDENS
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 2 September 2026 made the following Order under section 6 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
• The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. 674) Order 202*;
2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce waiting restrictions operating at any time outside No. 11 Greenstead Gardens.
3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order which comes into operation on 4 September 2026 are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks apply for this purpose to the High Court.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE – PUTNEY HIGH STREET SW15
- NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Putney High Street to facilitate Thames Water utility works
- Whilst the works are taking place on Putney High Street, the northbound cycle lane will be suspended between the junction with Weimar Street and the junction with Lower Richmond Road. No waiting will be permitted at any time.
- Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.
- Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.
- The order will come into operation on 20 September 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 20 September 2026.

- NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Southdean Gardens to facilitate Thames Water utility works
- Whilst the works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Southdean Gardens outside and opposite number 43. There will be no waiting at any time.
- Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.
- Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.
- The order will come into operation on 14 September 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 18 September 2026.
