Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coxes Farm Road, Great Burstead and South Green in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Outwood Farm Road to its junction with Southend Road, a distance of approximately 1325m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2405258 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Southend Road, Outwood Common Road, Outwood Farm Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 10th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Road, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with The Spinnakers to its junction with Elmhurst Avenue a distance of approximately 65m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st October 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03768354058/1 – Anglian Water Business (National)). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole cover and frame replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (National).

An alternative route is available via Essex Way, Benfleet Road, London Road, Kiln Road, Bread And Cheese Hill, London Road and vice versa (with access only into High Road).

The Order will come into effect on 10th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mucking Hall Road, Barling Magna in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Barling Road for a distance of approximately 805m in a north westerly then northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2405539A – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sign and post replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Barling Road and vice versa (with access only into Church Road and Mucking Hall Road).

The Order will come into effect on 10th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tidworth Avenue, Runwell in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Church End Lane for a distance of approximately 15m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2406572 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Tidworth Avenue, Church End Lane, Locarno Avenue, Church End Avenue and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 10th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1. To temporarily close that length of Tye Common Road, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Wiggins Lane for a distance of approximately 495m in a south westerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Wiggins Lane, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon from its junction with First Avenue to its junction with Tye Common Road a distance of approximately 95m.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 1st October 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311012WGQP5G0B/BC311013WGQP5G0B – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Tye Common Road, Clock House Road, Laindon Common Road, A176, A129, Tye Common Road and vice versa (with Frithwood Road, First Avenue for Wiggins Lane).

The Order will come into effect on 10th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Castle Point, as specified in schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway as per schedule for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 10th September 2026 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location, and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Castledon Road, London Road, Church Road, Downham Road, School Road, Castledon Road and vice versa.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dunton Road, Little Burstead/Laindon in the Borough of Basildon, from the junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 1330m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WH3GW59MPTSB/BC008WH3GW59M01PTSB – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Dunton Road, West Mayne Roundabout, West Mayne, High Road Roundabout, St Nicholas Lane, Upper Mayne Roundabout, Upper Mayne, Noak Hill Road Roundabout, Noak Hill Road, Wash Road West, Dunton Road and vice versa.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kents Hill Road, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junctions with London Road/Bread and Cheese Hill for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30048830808 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Bread and Cheese Hill, London Road, High Road and vice versa (with access only into Kents Hill Road).

The Order came into effect on 27th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kents Hill Road, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with High Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th September 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03768166104/1 – Anglian Water Business (National)). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (National).

An alternative route is available via Kents Hill Road, Melcombe Road, South View Road, High Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 27th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1. To temporarily close that length of Long Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 150m east of its junction with Hawkesbury Road for a distance of approximately 70m in an easterly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Thorney Bay Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point from its junction with Long Road to its junction with Silverthorne, a distance of approximately 35m.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 14th September 2026 for 20 nights (19:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2404361/EP201EH2404361A – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while junction improvement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Alternative routes are available via Long Road, Furtherwick Road, Central Wall Road, Somnes Avenue, Canvey Way Roundabout, Canvey Road, Long Road or Long Road, Canvey Road, Canvey Way Roundabout, Somnes Avenue, Elder Tree Road, High Street, Foksville Road, Furtherwick Road and Long Road.

or Thorney Bay Road, Western Esplanade and Furtherwick Road to join diversion above.
