ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Footpath Closure

Brewers Lane, Richmond.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a footpath closure in Brewers Lane, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may proceed in Brewers Lane, Richmond from the junction with The Green to outside number 13 Brewers Lane.

3. The order will come into effect on 07 September 2026. And will be in force at all times from 07 September to 11 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 6 months.

4. An alternative route for persons affected by the closure will be available via Golden Court and George Street.

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

   (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

   (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Church Street, Twickenham.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water and electrical connection works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Church Street, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Church Street, Twickenham from outside numbers 18 to 22.

3. Church Street will be two way for the duration of the works.

4. The order will come into effect 07 September 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress from 07 September to 18 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via York Street, Arragon Road, Church Street. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

   (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

   (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES

(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (HAM COMMUNITY MARKET) ORDER 2026

Richmond Road, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, following the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, on 03 September 2026 made the above Order under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of this Order is to facilitate the holding of a Community Market in Richmond Road, Ham which is being organised by and is for the benefit of the residents.

3. Whilst the market is taking place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Richmond Road (slip road) between its junctions with Tudor Drive and Cranmer Court.

4. Emergency service vehicles will have unrestricted access in the event of an emergency.

5. A diversion route for traffic affected by the closure is available via Richmond Road and Upper Ham Road.

6. Copies of the Order:-

   (a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 26/166 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Electrical works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a footpath closure in a length of the PROW No. 117 Hazel Lane, Petersham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may proceed in PROW No.117 Hazel Lane from the junction with Sudbrook Lane to the Junction with Petersham Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 07 September 2026 and will be in force at all times from 07 September 2026 to 14 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 6 months.

4. An alternative route for persons affected by the closure will be available via Sudbrook Lane, Petersham Road.

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to Facilitate electrical works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Kew Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place, the cycle lane in Kew Road, Kew between numbers 117-193 will be suspended.

3. There will also be parking suspensions in place as indicated by prescribed signs.

4. The order will come into effect on 10 September 2026, the works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from 10 September to 18 November 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

3. The order will come into effect on 14 September 2026, the works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from 14 September to 16 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
