LANGMUIR ROAD, BARGEDDIE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
On 31 August 2026 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on Carriageway and Footway Improvements) on Langmuir Road Bargeddie from Junction of A89 Coatbridge Road to Junction of Dykehead Road by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
Alternative routes: A89 Coatbridge Road, A8 Glasgow and Edinburgh Road and A752 Langmuir Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.
Vehicular access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.
The Order, will come into operation at 0001 hours on 14 September 2026 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Sunday 4 October 2026.
