TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (DOVEHOUSE STREET) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Dovehouse Street to be closed from the junction of Fulham Road to the junction of Dudmaston Mews.
The road is to be closed to vehicles for crane works.
The restrictions will come into force from 00.01hrs on Monday 27th September 2026, until 23.59hrs on Thursday 24th September 2026, with backup dates of Monday 28th September 2026 until Thursday 1st October 2026.
Diverted through traffic may use Fulham Road, Old Church Street, South Parade, Dovehouse Street, in both directions.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
