Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coach Road, Great Horkesley in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 65m south west of its junction with Nayland Road for a distance of approximately 2180m in a south westerly then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th September 2026 for 18 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2408606 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via London Road, A134, Coach Road and vice versa.

(Cowdray Avenue Service Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Cowdray Avenue Service Road, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 65m north then north west of its junction with Cowdray Avenue for a distance of approximately 20m in a westerly direction.
2. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
The Essex County Council (Borough of Colchester) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure/clearway is scheduled to commence on 28th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03168539920/G – Anglian Water Business (National)). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/clearway is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (National).
An alternative route is available via Cowdray Avenue. (with access only into Cowdray Avenue Service Road).

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coggeshall Road, Ardleigh/Dedham in the District of Tendring and City of Colchester, from the junction of Harwich Road to the junction of Long Road West a distance of approximately 1430m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2412081 EP201EH2412081A – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cymbeline Way, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Spring Lane Roundabout for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction and from its junction with Spring Lane Roundabout for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st October 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311001WH3FLP2R – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Dedham in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 215m north east of its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 220m in a north easterly then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th September 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311001WH3D222R – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ducting works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Various Roads, District of Tendring) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.15) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Tendring as specified in the Schedule.
A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway on the above lengths of road, for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works.
Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
“The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 10th September 2026 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
