TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (QUEENSBURY MEWS WEST) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Queensbury Mews West to be closed from outside of number 12 to outside of number 8.
The road is to be closed to vehicles for utility works.
The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs on Monday 21st September 2026 until 18.00hrs on Friday 25th September 2026, with backup dates of Monday 26th September 2026 until Friday 2nd October 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
There is no diversion route possible for this road closure.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
