HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") Wedi gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:
1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 13eg Medi 2026 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau ar 13eg Medi 2026, gan weithio rhwng 08:00-18:00.
2. Roedd y Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i Dŵr Cymru wneud gwaith mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Cedwir mynediad rhesymol i eiddo sy'n wynebu'r darnau o'r ffordd yr effeithir arnynt yn ystod y cyfnod cau.
3. Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Heol Sudbrook, Cil-y-coed, Sir Fynwy, ~215m o'r gyffordd â Heol Great Spring am ~300m
4. Nid oes llwybr dargyfeirio ar waith ar gyfer y gwaith hwn - bydd mynediad/allanfa yn cael eu cynnal ar y safle gydag ychydig o oedi.
5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Sudbrook, Cil-y-coed, Sir Fynwy 2026.
6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powes conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
1. The Order came into operation on the 13th September 2026 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 13th September 2026, operating between 08:00-18:00
2. The order was necessary for Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.
3. The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Sudbrook Road, Caldicot, Monmouthshire, ~215m from its junction with Great Spring Road for ~300m
4. There is no signed diversionary route in place for these works, access/egress to be maintained on site under short delays.
5. This order may be cited as the Sudbrook Road, Caldicot, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026
6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
