ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Queens Cross, Dudley and High Street, Dudley) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Queens Cross and High Street, Dudley, for the purpose of carriageway resurfacing being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 21.09.2026 and will remain in force until 02.10.2026, from 19:00 until 03:00 each night or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Wellington Road and Stafford Street; OR Vicar Street, Shaw Road, Blowers Green Road, Cinder Bank Island, Blowers Green Road, and Aston Road. Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
