Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DARTFORD AREA
Edwin Road, Wilmington, DA2 7DN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of the replacement of one existing telegraph pole and rehang associated cabling works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Edwin Road, Wilmington, on or after 1st October 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 2.
The alternative route is via Edwin Road, Albert Road, B258 High Road, Martin Road and vice versa.
Station Road, Southfleet, DA13 9LH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Thames Water Utilities works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Station Road, Southfleet, on or after 29th September 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from B262 Station Road to the entrance to Haydon Cross House.
The alternative route is via Dale Road, B262 Station Road, New Barn Road, B260 Main Road, B255 Whitehill Road, Hook Green Road and vice versa.
Swanscombe Street, Swanscombe, DA10 0BH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of the replacement of one existing telegraph pole and rehang associated cabling works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Swanscombe Street, Swanscombe, on or after 28th September 2026 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside numbers 7 and 9.
The alternative route is via Stanhope Road, Albert Road, Church Road, Swanscombe Street and vice versa.
