ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS – Public Footpath No. 19 (Part) Parish of Middlewich

Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section 15 (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order being extended and continuing in force until 5th January 2028.

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:

That length of Public Footpath No. 19 Middlewich which commences at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 7187 6552 and runs in a generally southeast direction for approx. 685m to OSGR SJ 7245 6524.

The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger while posed by road construction works on or near the Public Right of Way.

An alternative route is available on site.

Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section 15 (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order being extended and continuing in force until 16/01/2028.

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:

That length of Public Footpath No. 22 Middlewich which commences at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 7135 6647 and running in a generally south east direction before curving to a north direction for a distance of approx. 346m OSGR SJ 7157 6630.

This Closure is necessary to protect the public from dangers posed by road construction works on or near the Public Right of Way
